Biography
Tursynay Kabyil was born in the city of Arkalyk, Kostanay Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Education
2021 U. Sultangazin Kostanay Pedagogical University, majoring in Physical Education and Sports.
Athletic Achievements
Tursynay began training in para powerlifting in November 2015 and is an athlete of the Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities. Her personal coach is Dmitry Yevgenyevich Tsarenko. Since 2016, she has been a member of the national para powerlifting team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous international Paralympic events in para powerlifting:
- 2016 – "Children of Asia" International Junior Para Powerlifting Competition, Yakutsk (Russia) – 1st place in the up to 41 kg weight category.
- 2017 – Asian Youth Para Games, Dubai – 1st place in the up to 41 kg category.
- 2018 – FazzA 9 World Cup in Para Powerlifting, Dubai (UAE) – 2nd place (juniors), 3rd place (women).
- 2018 – Asian Championships, Kitakyushu (Japan) – 1st place in the up to 41 kg junior category.
- 2019 – World Junior Para Powerlifting Championships, Astana – 1st place in the up to 45 kg category.
- 2019 – FazzA 10 World Cup, Dubai – 2nd place (juniors) in the up to 41 kg category.
- In 2019, she set two Asian records in the up to 41 kg junior weight class.
- 2022 – Asian Championships, Pyeongtaek (South Korea) – 4th place in the up to 41 kg category.
- 2023 – World Championships, Dubai – 7th place. IV Asian Para Games, Hangzhou (China) – Silver medalist in the up to 41 kg category.
- Record holder of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the up to 41 kg category among juniors and adults.
- 2024 – World Para Powerlifting Qualification World Cup, May 8–11, Pattaya (Thailand) – 3rd place in the up to 41 kg women’s category.
- 2024 – Qualification World Cup, June 20–26, Tbilisi (Georgia) – 3rd place in the up to 45 kg category.
- 6th place at the XVII Summer Paralympic Games in Paris 2024 in the para powerlifting event.
