A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University is an unusual and amazing university. Though it cannot claim to be the oldest or largest university in our country, in terms of the number of bright victories and significant achievements in certain areas of activity of organizations of higher and postgraduate education, our comprehensive university is often not only not inferior to eminent universities but even surpasses them.
In our university, the longstanding traditions of academic excellence and successful innovation have been carefully preserved for many years. With our team of experienced and well-trained professors, the university is able to provide top-level education and research opportunities to its students, allowing them to reach their highest potential.
The rich and fascinating history of our university was naturally created by a large number of talented, strong-willed, and extraordinary people who loved their alma mater and worked here in the best traditions of national education. This history, which is still being written today, demonstrates our university has a long and proud tradition of excellence and innovation. Keeping all that is good and bright that was passed down from senior colleagues, the current team closely follows advanced trends in science and innovation, actively develops itself and develops our university.

The practical results of scientific research and development by ABKRU teachers in the fields of crop economics, sustainable agriculture, agrochemistry, soil science, microbiology, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, plant and animal biotechnology, mechanization and electrification of agriculture, IT technologies, archeology, as well as humanitarian and pedagogical areas are widely applied in the republic.

According to the results of the annual rating, 80% of the academic programs of the university are ranked in the NCE "Atameken" and show a stable dynamic of indicators.
