Born in the village of Fyodorovka, Fyodorovsky District, Kostanay Region.
Education
- 1990 Kostanay Pedagogical Institute, Physical Education Teacher, Coach-Pedagogue.
- 2010 Kostanay State University, Faculty of Finance and Credit.
Career
- Since 1992 Individual Entrepreneur.
- 1997 Founded (as the founder) the dairy production companies "MILKH" and "PK Vita".
- 2011-2016 Deputy of the City Maslikhat (local council).
- Since 2013 Chairman of the public association "Kostanay Regional German Cultural Center 'Vozrozhdenie' (Revival)".
- 2014 Initiated and opened the "German House of Kostanay" as the leader of the German community of Kostanay Region.
- December 2016 Re-elected Chairman of the public association KONKC "Vozrozhdenie" unanimously at the regional Conference of Germans of Kostanay Region, term until the end of 2019.
- Sergey Ivanovich Blok is a member of the Regional Council of the Patrons Club, a member of the Board of Trustees of Kostanay State University named after Ibray Altynsarin, a member of the Public Association "Dairy Union of Kazakhstan", a member of the Public Association "ASPreDKO", and a member of the "Nur Otan" party.
- He is the Head of the Board of Trustees of the Kostanay Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". He is actively engaged in philanthropy on an ongoing basis.
State Awards and Honors
- 2006 Awarded the medal "Eren Enbegi Üshin" (For Distinguished Labor).
- April 2011 As Director of "MILKH," Sergey Blok received a letter of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, for the successful implementation of state-of-the-art international equipment in the dairy production of "MILKH," Kostanay.
- 2014 Awarded the Order of "Qurmet" (Honor).
