An agronomist is a specialist who has knowledge not only in the field of growing agricultural products, but also well versed in economics, marketing, accounting, and modern information systems.
At the end you will be able to:
- Carry out scientific research in the field of agronomy (increasing yields, applying the latest processing methods);
- Select plant varieties in accordance with the peculiarities of the climate;
- Perform agrotechnical measures to increase soil fertility and increase yields;
- Check the quality of seeds and prepare them for sowing;
- Inspect the land in order to identify plant diseases and pests
- Think over a pest control scheme without harming plants, soil and the environment;
- Determine the methods of fertilization and calculate the doses of applied fertilizing.
