The most favorite instrument of the Kazakh people is the dombra. The history of dombra music is closely intertwined with the history of the people.

Over the years of the work of the House of Culture of Students, dombrists have shown excellent results at various competitions. The ensemble took part in the International Festival movement "Astsna Stars" in an online format, with the support of the Department of Culture of Nur-Sultan.

They became Laureates in the II International vocal and Instrumental competition of the I degree, the ensemble "Shabyt".

Also, the students of the KRU Student House of Culture are among the winners of the international vocal and instrumental competition "GOLDEN SOUND".

The ensemble of dombrists "Shabyt", led by the teacher of the dombra class at the DCS "Aliya Sailau, took part in the competition, which was held in Nur-Sultan. Our dombrists performed the kui of Karshigi Akhmediyarova "Altyn uya". For the masterful performance of this composition, the ensemble took 2nd place.

And the master's student of the Institute of Economics and Law Narbolat Bektybayev took first place in the personal championship for the performance of the kuya "Kishkentai" by the famous composer Kurmagnaza.
