After several consecutive days of graduation ceremonies, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities brought this remarkable celebration to a fitting conclusion.
This year, the faculty graduated 213 bachelor's degree students, including future journalists, philologists, translators, psychologists, historians, and archivists.
For 35 graduates, the occasion was especially memorable as they received degrees with honors.
The day also marked an important milestone for graduates of the Military Department, who were officially presented with their officer shoulder boards.
In addition, 25 graduates were awarded master's degrees, celebrating the successful completion of their postgraduate studies.
The Class of 2026 will also be remembered for another significant achievement. For the first time, four students who studied under scholarships provided by the Qazaqstan Halkyna Public Foundation graduated from the faculty. In recognition of this milestone, they were presented with commemorative badges and letters of appreciation from the Foundation.
The graduates were joined by prospective employers and distinguished guests, including executives from leading regional media organizations, representatives of the healthcare and education sectors, archival institutions, and regional youth policy organizations.
Among the many congratulatory speeches, the address delivered by Taras Nagaïtsev, Chief Freelance Psychologist of the Kostanay Region Health Department, was particularly inspiring.
“Four years ago, you entered our beloved university as young students. Today, you graduate as qualified professionals and bachelor's degree holders. From this day forward, you are no longer students—you are our colleagues.
Our world is changing rapidly, and regardless of the profession you have chosen, it is you who will shape our tomorrow. The university has provided you with a strong academic foundation, but your greatest contribution will be your fresh ideas, creativity, and new perspective—qualities that society needs more than ever. Perhaps one of you will make a breakthrough that will elevate our university, our region, or even our country to new heights.
And to our master's graduates, I would like to say this: your degree proves that no challenge is beyond your reach and that anything is possible.”
Congratulations to the graduates of Baitursynuly University!
The world is full of opportunities, and its doors are now open to you. Move forward with confidence, pursue your dreams, and reach new heights!
