The new academic year at Baitursynov University started with a visit from Laura Paluanova, the Coordinator of the National Office ERASMUS+ in Kazakhstan.
The introduction began with a meeting with the university's leadership, the international cooperation department directly overseeing this project at the university, and the faculty. The ERASMUS+ office in Kazakhstan provides support for collaboration with European universities, academic mobility for students and faculty.
During the meeting, opportunities for faculty participation were discussed. Laura Kalabayevna presented a comprehensive algorithm for submitting competitive applications for participation in the ERASMUS+ program, highlighting priority directions and programs. Additionally, reports from the leaders of two ongoing projects, UXiship by Igor Koshkin and Gulnara Yunusova, were heard.
It's noteworthy that Baitursynov University has been participating in the ERASMUS+ program since 2015 and currently ranks among the top three institutions in the country for the number of projects, following KazNU named after Al-Farabi and ENU named after L. Gumilev.
The university's leadership expresses gratitude to the National Office ERASMUS+ for organizing the meeting!
