The careers guidance event brought together final-year students from three of the city’s schools and their parents.
Representatives from KRU’s Career Guidance and Student Admissions Centre, the Pedagogical Institute and the university’s faculties took part in the event.
The discussion focused on preparing for Unified National Testing (UNT), choosing a future profession and planning the next stage of education.
University representatives introduced prospective students and their parents to the available degree programmes, student life, learning opportunities and prospects for professional development.
Participants also viewed presentations on fields of study and admission to Baitursynuly University.
A creative performance by university students added a special touch to the event.
The meeting concluded with KRU representatives answering all questions from students and parents.
