Students from six universities of Kazakhstan competed for the title of the best. All participants had already demonstrated a high level of proficiency by successfully passing their internal university selection rounds.
The Olympiad consisted of two stages.
In the first round, participants completed a lexical and grammatical test, tasks in профильные disciplines, and wrote an essay.
In the second round, contestants defended projects on the актуальная topic “Philology in the Era of Generative AI: From Digital Analysis to Social Innovation and Industrial Solutions.”
Participants presented their vision of the development of philology in the context of rapid digitalization.
Based on the results of both stages, the winners were determined.
First place was awarded to Darya Finevich, a student of KRU.
Second place was shared by Georgy Zyryanov (Karaganda Buketov University) and Magomed Kurakhmaev (Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University).
Third place was awarded to three participants: Dilnaz Aliyeva (Eurasian National University), Nurai Umbet (Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages), and Dayana Kurmanayeva (KRU named after Akhmet Baitursynuly).
The winners were awarded diplomas of the I, II, and III degrees.
