On the basis of International Information Technology University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), the fifth meeting was held in the period from 23 to 24 November 2017 within the framework of the international project "ACADEMICA" (Curriculum Modernization and Development-561553 -EPP-1-2015-1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). The meeting was attended by teachers and leading experts of this University. 33 delegates from the partner countries took part in the discussion on the stages of curriculum modernization, made presentations according to the agenda.
The reports were presented by the project manager from KSPI – M.V.Sukhov, c.t.sc., Dean of the Science and Mathematics Faculty; the project researchers: N.Yu.Kifik, c.p.sc., Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, and V.V. Danilova, Ph.D., senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages.
During the discussion, issues of further modernization of the syllabi of selected courses and an analysis of the current results of the changes were discussed.
Also within the framework of this meeting an exhibition of student achievements in the field of technology was organized. The participants also attended training sessions on teaching technology using software, professionally-oriented foreign language and updated programs.
This meeting was held at a high organizational and informative level.
