Kamal Abilkassymovna is one of the country’s first professional simultaneous interpreters and the first winner of the national “Best Translator” competition.
She has made a significant contribution to the development of the field. For many years, she worked in the Editorial and Publishing Department of the Supreme Council and the Senate of Parliament, advancing from consultant to Deputy Head of the Department.
A writer, publicist, and poet, Kamal Alpeisova is known for her ability to address important social issues with depth and insight. A multifaceted personality, she is the author of numerous scholarly works, poems, as well as collections of short stories and fairy tales.
The guest presented several of her books to the university library as a gift.
Having arrived in her hometown, Kamal Abilkassymovna has spent the past several days meeting with members of the regional intellectual community, young people, and journalists.
During her meeting with KRU students, the distinguished guest held an engaging discussion on the importance of education, the role of national values in the development of society, and the significance of the institution of family.
The delegation accompanying the guest included Kymbat Doszhan, Chief Producer of the Qonaev Media television channel.
She shared with students the story of her professional journey in television and radio, spoke about current trends in the media industry, and offered valuable advice to aspiring journalists.
