Eco Hour at KRU

An eco-themed session titled “Save Water – Preserve the Future” was held at Baitursynuly University.

The event brought together students from all university buildings.

The initiative was implemented by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the “Adal Azamat” program, aimed at fostering environmental culture and civic responsibility.

The key focus of the meeting was the responsible use of water as a strategic resource of the country.

In their speeches, participants emphasized that rational water use is not only an environmental issue but also a foundation for the sustainable development of the economy and society.

A special role in this process is assigned to young people, who are expected to shape a new culture of consumption and introduce environmentally friendly practices into everyday life.

Industry experts spoke about modern water-saving technologies, measures to protect resources, and encouraged students to become more actively involved in environmental and volunteer initiatives.

Among the speakers were representatives of профильных agencies and organizations working in the field of water resources in the region.

The main message of the event was clear: water is not just a natural resource, but the foundation of life and development. How we manage it today determines the future of the country.
