In accordance with the Message of the Head of State Tokayev K.K. to the people of Kazakhstan dated September 1st, 2020 "Kazakhstan in the new reality: time to act" in order to transfer advanced scientific technologies every year 500 scientists are provided with internships in leading centers of the world.

Internship Field: Food Safety
Within the framework of the internship, modern approaches to ensuring the safety of products of animal origin were studied through the monitoring of bacteria along the food chain. Applied research in the field of food safety was conducted, including the investigation of phenotypic and genotypic resistance of bacteria to antimicrobial agents isolated from raw materials. In addition, educational practices were analyzed, and international cooperation between universities was established to ensure sustainable integration, strengthening, and collaboration in various areas of professional training.

Internship Field: Agronomy
During the internship, several new methods of working using special tools and materials were mastered: determining the content of photosynthetic pigments in leaves and carotenoids—which vary based on contamination levels; investigating the responses of antioxidant systems under different concentrations of pollutants; studying the activity of oxidative stress enzymes.

Internship Field: Agro-Industrial Complex Research
