National Debate Tournament Held at Baitursynuly University.
Today, Baitursynuly University hosted a national debate tournament.
A total of 48 speakers and 24 teams — composed of high school students, college students, and university students — participated in the event. The topic, highly relevant today, was “Law and Order in a Digital Society.”
The importance of this topic is clear: in a world where new technologies emerge every day, it is vital to understand how to balance progress with the preservation of public order.
The tournament gave participants a platform to discuss how laws can adapt to new challenges such as artificial intelligence, cyber threats, and personal safety in digital environments.
The tournament was organized by the debate club “Parasat.”
