Professor Tatiana Bragina, whose main research areas include biological diversity and conservation of natural ecosystems, soil zoology, fauna, and ecology of invertebrates, shared with students about an international scientific project aimed at restoring the population of the steppe eagle in the Naursum Nature Reserve region. Due to extensive fires in 2022, the nests of the steppe eagle were damaged. The Global Greengrants Fund project involves their artificial restoration.
It is worth noting that the Global Green Grant Fund is a foundation that supports environmental initiatives worldwide. By the way, the initiator of the project is our university's biology graduate, RishatBatryakov. The successful implementation of the project was facilitated by the research materials of the Faculty and the strong knowledge of the department's graduates.
