On February 2, 2023, the Institute of Economics and Law P. Chuzhin launched the "High Guest" educational project.
The project aims to introduce students to prominent individuals from our region and republic, graduates of our University, who share their "secrets of success" with students in a lively format, recounting interesting facts from their biography, professional activity, mentors, and hobbies.
The first guest of the project was Ashat Batyrzhanovich Iskenderiv, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Public Service Affairs in the Kostanay region, Chairman of the Ethics Council. The department he heads is a strategic partner of the university.
Ashat Batyrzhanovich is a graduate of the Faculty of Law. He is always open to dialogue and generously shares his knowledge and professional experience with the younger generation of future lawyers. He has repeatedly spoken as a speaker to student audiences about the conditions for entering the civil service and career growth prospects. Many students of the Institute have undergone training at the School of Public Service, which was initiated by the Department of Public Service Affairs.
In a relaxed informal setting, 2nd and 3rd year students of the Jurisprudence program were able to ask the guest questions they were interested in.
Students were interested in aspects related to Ashat Batyrzhanovich's history as a civil servant, his mentors, hobbies, the specifics of entering and working in government institutions, social security, and future prospects.
This format of educational events allows students to learn about a person from a different perspective, discuss their strengths, moral principles and values, civic stance, views on the current state and future development of our state and society.
Students learned many interesting and useful things from this project.
