This past weekend, the annual Republican tournament "Novice Cup," organized by the debate club "Akhmet Urpakhtary," was held. The tournament featured 36 teams, including participants from school debate clubs, university students, and college students from the cities of Kostanay and Kokshetau.
The tournament was conducted in the British Parliamentary format (BPF). All participants delivered commendable speeches and fiercely competed for victory. One of the main judges of the tournament was Alexey Pakhomov, a speaker from Chelyabinsk.
In the tournament finals, the teams "One and a Half Meters of Fury and Sanja" (Sanzhar Mukashev, Alina Krun), "Wakanda Forever" (Aitmukhamet Aruzhan, Dzhumabekova Dilyarakhanim), "Ruthless Hamsters" (Pedan Yulia, Shidlovskaya Anastasia), and "District 12" (Barkhatdinova Valeria, Dordiy Evgenia) competed for the winner's title.
The team "Ruthless Hamsters" (Pedan Yulia, Shidlovskaya Anastasia - Akhmet Urpakhtary DC) emerged as the winner. The best speaker of the tournament was Aitmukhamet Aruzhan from "Molot" DC, Kokshetau.
