First-year students of the "Judicial and Law Enforcement Activities" program, led by senior lecturer Sarsengali Aralbaev from the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, visited the special unit base of PSN SOBR of the Kostanay Region Police Department. Students learned about the daily life of special unit employees, saw weapons and special equipment, and learned about the circumstances and locations in which they are used.
They tried on the "burdensome" special protection equipment and heard about the sports awards of winners and prize-winners of international and national competitions in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. They also watched educational videos about the professional, sports, and cultural lives of elite unit officers in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Such excursions help students get to know the law enforcement and human rights protection systems of the region, form professional culture, and contribute to the patriotic education of youth.
