The final stage of the city's creative festival Jastar fest - 2023 took place at DK "Miras," with more than 300 participants in the casting.
The competition has been held for the second year under the auspices of the youth public association "Zhana Tyngyss MDi." The festival aims to stimulate interest in art and culture and identify creative potential among young people under the age of 35.
The competition included three categories: vocal in the 16-23 age group, vocal in the 24-35 age group, and choreography. Students of KRU named after A. Baytursynuly who participated demonstrated their vocal talents and became winners of the competition. In the 16-23 age group, 1st place unanimously went to the 3rd-year Marketing student Madina Smagulova, who also received a cash prize of 150,000 tenge.
Maulen Kadyrov, a 3rd-year Information Systems student, took 3rd place and a cash prize of 50,000 tenge.
Both are members of the "Oner" creative studio.
Special jury member, TV, film, and music producer Zhan Muqanov, highlighted the special talent of Askar Turinyazov, awarding him a personal prize of 100,000 tenge.
