Students from the Department of Natural Sciences participated in a school scientific-practical conference "Happy Childhood - the Priority of Independent Kazakhstan," dedicated to the Independence Day of Kazakhstan, as part of a cooperation agreement.
The conference was held at Secondary School No. 7. The purpose of the conference was to create conditions for improving the methodological and professional level of teachers and developing the intellectual and creative potential of children by enhancing their research skills and abilities. Participants included school teachers, high school students, students, and undergraduates from the Department of Natural Sciences and the Pedagogical Institute.
KRU student Ekaterina Tarasenko presented on wild ground bees (Andrena sp.) and honey bees (Apis mellifera L.) in the Kostanay district, while Sabina Dzhuldybayeva discussed climate changes in the Kostanay region over the past 50 years.
Additionally, the chairman of the volunteer club "JARYQ," Dana Alibekova, spoke on "The Volunteer Club - Implementing Important Ideas." Organizers thanked the conference participants for their interesting and informative reports, and certificates were awarded to the participants.
