The sports hall of the Pedagogical Institute came alive in honor of Nauryz: the space was filled with excitement, support, laughter, and a true spirit of competition.
Competitions were held in traditional national sports, including kettlebell lifting, arkhan tartys (tug of war), tayak tartys, asyk atu, and bes asyk.
Each площадка attracted dozens of participants and spectators.
Participants gave their best, demonstrating strength, agility, and endurance. The contests were intense, which made them especially engaging and exciting.
University leadership also took an active part in the competitions.
Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Nurlikhan Temirbekov and Director of the Pedagogical Institute Kenzhegul Yesirkepova tried their skills in asyk atu, while Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elmira Kenzhegalieva took part in bes asyk.
Students responded with enthusiastic applause, as such moments bring people closer together and create a truly warm and friendly atmosphere.
National traditions are not just history—they are an integral part of our lives today. They unite, inspire, and create memorable moments that are cherished with a smile. And at Baitursynuly University, the Day of National Sports Games became exactly such an occasion.
