Students of the military department of Baitursynuly University took part in an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The presentation of the book exhibition “The war will not disappear from memory” took place in the Kostanay Regional Universal Scientific Library named after L.N. Tolstoy.
The guests of the exhibition were the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Honorary Journalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Kasymkhan Aldabergenov, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of the KRU Serikzhan Ismailov, chairman of the public association of veterans of the armed forces, retired colonel Serikbay Izimov, member of the regional council of veterans, teacher Tamara Davidenko and others.
The event became an important step in preserving historical memory and instilling patriotism in the younger generation.
