An unusual autumn holiday for students with special educational needs of the Baitursynul University was held on the basis of the department «Zolotoy Fazan». The guys participated in contests, sang songs, read poetry and, of course, talked a lot.
The cultural and leisure evening "Autumn in the courtyard" was held within the framework of the AIA grant project "Students with disabilities: legal protection and increasing competitiveness in the labor market".
The initiator of the event was Vitaly RUDNEV, a Master of Journalism at the KRU. The proposal was supported by the Center for Inclusive Education and the Department of Psychology of the University.
Among the invited were not only students with special educational opportunities, but also volunteers, as well as Andrea Letašiová, PhD from the University of Trnava (Slovakia).
I felt the support and attention from the organizers and participants, - Ekaterina PROBALOVA, a 4th year student, shared her impressions. - I especially remember the contests where we were not only able to show our talents, but also received positive emotions. Such meetings help us to participate fully in student life. Thank you for this opportunity!
