The vibrant energy of KRU freshmen could be felt all across the university this week!
The traditional festival “Armysyzdar, bul – biz!” (“Hello, this is us!”) took place with bright performances, loud applause, and plenty of university spirit.
At the opening ceremony, Nurlykhan Temirbekov, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work at KRU, addressed the students with a warm welcome:
“This festival unites us, reveals talents, and strengthens our university spirit. Our KRU is one big, friendly family. Welcome, freshmen!”
It was clear that the first-year students have already adapted well to university life. On stage, they introduced their academic programs in creative and entertaining ways — through expressive dance routines, vocal performances, and even mini-plays.
Many teams also raised important social topics such as ecology, self-awareness, and career development, showing both artistry and thoughtfulness.
The jury had a tough job selecting the winners. The results of the festival are as follows:
Congratulations to all the winners and participants!
Special thanks go to the Department for Youth Policy, the student organizers, and the entire festival committee. It was truly KRU-tastic! The new academic year has started with a burst of energy and creativity!
