Today, Kostanay Regional University officially launched its 2026 graduation ceremonies. The first to receive their diplomas were graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering and Information Technologies.
This year, the faculty has graduated 359 young professionals who are ready to apply their knowledge, bring innovative ideas to life, and build successful careers.
In total, 2,242 bachelor's degree graduates and 239 master's degree graduates are completing their studies at KRU in 2026.
This year's graduation ceremonies are especially significant for graduates of the Military Department. A total of 109 graduates have been commissioned as Reserve Lieutenants. In accordance with the order issued on June 22, 2026, they were presented with their officer shoulder boards—a memorable milestone that will undoubtedly remain with them for years to come.
This year's graduation celebrations are also marked by another important event. Ahead of the entry into force of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 1, 25 outstanding KRU students will receive copies of the country's Constitution (Ata Zañ). The first commemorative copies were presented during today's ceremony.
Special recognition was also given to graduates who played an active role in university life. Student leaders and volunteers received certificates of appreciation for their outstanding contribution to the development of the university and their active participation in campus activities.
“I would like to wish all our graduates every success and a bright future,” said Seitbek Kuanyshbayev, Rector of Baitursynuly University, opening the ceremony. “Those who wish to continue their academic journey are welcome to pursue master's and doctoral studies at our university. We will continue to create every opportunity for your professional and personal growth. I sincerely congratulate you and your families on this important milestone and wish each of you the very best.”
The day was filled with heartfelt congratulations, warm wishes, and memorable moments. Perhaps the atmosphere is best captured by the familiar words of Oguzok from the television series Kitchen:
“That's it... It turned out to be quite a story. An interesting, joyful, sometimes bittersweet, but above all, a meaningful one. It taught us to be brave and never fear the challenges life places before us...”
Dear KRU graduates, embrace the future with confidence. We are proud of you, we believe in you, and we wish you every success!
The graduation celebrations continue. Tomorrow, students of the Faculty of Economics and Law will take center stage as they celebrate this important milestone in their academic journey.
