"BAITURSYNULY CUP XIX": the best of the best!

The republican debate tournament "BAITURSYNULY CUP XIX" was held at Baitursynuly University, organized by the debate club "Akhmet Urpaktary".

Teams from Astana, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Aktobe, Semey, Petropavlovsk, Kokshetau, Shymkent and Kostanay took part in the tournament, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of MirzhakypDulatuly. A total of 32 factions and 64 speakers performed.

Following the results of bright and tense debate battles, the winners were:

• 1st place and cash prize of 100,000 tenge - “Zhegizbaylar” faction (ZhakenNurken, Zhaksylyk Bekhan, Aktobe)
• Finalist (50,000 tenge) - faction “EkeumizdiTagdyr Kostanay” (SlanbekElemes, YeralyNurkhan, Pavlodar)
• Finalist (50,000 tenge) - Voldemort faction (Omar Dinislam, TailakovZhandos, Kokshetau)
• Finalist (50,000 tenge) - faction “VVV” (EsenovAskhat, SapargaliBatyrzhan, Aktobe)
• Winner of the youth final (30,000 tenge) - ABX faction (YesenbayevMeyrambek, Akhmetkereyev Abay, Aktobe)
• Best judge (25,000 tenge) - Sabitov Daulet (Kostanay)
• Best speaker (25,000 tenge) - Zhaksylyk Bekhan (Pavlodar)
