The university hosted the legendary national debate tournament “BAITURSYNULY CUP – XX”, celebrating its 20th anniversary.
This year, participants debated the topic “Law and Order”, proving that critical thinking and the ability to defend one’s position are true superpowers.
The tournament brought together 32 teams from across Kazakhstan, including school students, college students, and young people who are not afraid to ask questions and seek meaningful answers.
The chosen theme, “Law and Order,” gave special relevance to the event.
In today’s rapidly changing world, legal culture, responsibility, and active citizenship form the foundation of sustainable social development.
By discussing real challenges and proposing their own solutions, participants did more than compete—they learned to be conscious and responsible citizens of their country.

Over two days of intense debates, participants demonstrated strong argumentation skills, courage, and the ability to listen—competencies that are valuable not only on stage but also in everyday life.
Undoubtedly, among these young debaters are future lawyers, public figures, and leaders who will shape the legal culture and civic consciousness of the country.
