Dr. Indira Aitzhanova, PhD, from the Department of Food Security and Biotechnology at Baitursynuly University, is currently undertaking an internship at one of Europe’s leading universities. She received this opportunity through a grant from the Bolashak program.
The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) comprises two academies: medical and veterinary. For many years, Indira Nurlanovna has focused her research on the productivity indicators of beef and dairy cattle breeds. This internship marks a new chapter in her studies.
“The analysis of feed for beef and dairy cattle will be conducted at one of Lithuania's largest laboratories, Pieno Tyrimai JSC,” shared Indira Aitzhanova. “The internship supervisor is Professor Dr. Rolandas Stankevicius, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Head of the Department of Animal Nutrition.”
The next three months will not only involve research activities but also the preparation of a scientific publication for leading peer-reviewed journals.
