A researcher from Baitursynuly University has been appointed to a national PhD Dissertation Council in Agroengineering — a big step forward for the university.
Dr. Maksat Amantaev, Associate Professor at the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Transport, has been approved as a permanent member of the PhD Dissertation Council at Seifulin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University in Astana.
The Council was established by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Its main role is to supervise PhD defenses in the field of agroengineering.
- The creation of this Dissertation Council is a major step for advancing agroengineering in Kazakhstan. I defended my own PhD here back in 2017 and have been collaborating with the university ever since. Being part of the Council not only strengthens Baitursynuly University's academic reputation, but also opens doors for our doctoral students to defend their dissertations at one of the country's top agricultural institutions, - said Maksat Amantaev.
Congratulations to our colleague! We wish him continued success in shaping the next generation of agroengineering professionals!
