Baitursynuly University hosted the international student scientific-practical conference "Current Issues in Economics and Law: Modern Challenges and Development Prospects," dedicated to the Independence Day of Kazakhstan.
The event, which gathered young researchers, master's and doctoral students, and undergraduates, was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Law at Baitursynuly University.
The conference opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, Aidar Baykin.
The moderator was Aliya Esengazyevna Dosmakova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Accounting and Management.
Invited speakers at the plenary session included:
Askat Alpysbaiuly Duisenbayev – Deputy Head of the State Institution "Department of Judicial Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Kostanay Region," Ethics Commissioner;
Yernar Galymbekuly Galymbek – General Director of "Olzha Produkt" LLP;
Gulbanu Zhunanovna Kabylyova – Chief Specialist of the Public Service Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Kostanay Region.
The conference was divided into the following sections:
Person, Society, and State: Ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution of Kazakhstan and foreign countries in the modern era;
Legal Science and Law Enforcement Issues: Modernizing civil and criminal legislation;
Economy Amid Global Changes: Challenges and growth prospects;
Effective Management and Accounting in Modern.

Aruzhan Zhasulanovna Raimova (E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Karaganda, Kazakhstan) – "Recognition of a Citizen as Missing or Declared Deceased: Case Considerations."
Nurperi Zholdoshbekovna Doktorbayeva (University of Pecs, Pecs, Hungary) – "Effective Approaches to Employing People with Disabilities in the Digital Economy" (English).
Salen Songybekovna Kuzhemratova (Baitursynuly University, Kostanay, Kazakhstan) – "Development of Processing and Expansion of Non-Resource-Based Exports as a Foundation for the Growth of Kazakhstan’s Oil and Fat Industry."
Malika Markovna Ismailova (Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev, Kostanay, Kazakhstan) – "Economy Amid Global Changes: Modern Challenges and Growth Prospects."
A total of 120 research papers were presented at the conference, reflecting pressing issues of modern society.
