On the basis of the NAO "North Kazakhstan University named after Manash Kozybayev", a republican competition of students' research works in the direction of "Geography teacher training" was held, in which 12 student projects of 7 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part. The topics of the competition works were presented in the following areas: physical, economic, social geography, methods of teaching geography, cartography.
A 3rd-year student of the Geography Department of the Department of Natural Sciences, Sabina Dzhuldybayeva, submitted a work on the topic "Climate analysis of Kostanay over the past 50 years" to the competition, where she used statistical data from 1970 to 2020, which were provided by Kazhydromet RSE in the Kostanay region.
Following the results of the meeting of the competition commission, Sabina became a prize-winner and received an honorary III place.
