Results have been announced for the evaluation of applications for the second round of the international internship program "Bolashak" by the Center for International Programs. The "500 Scholars" project offers scientists from various cities in Kazakhstan the opportunity to intern in the world's best research centers and universities. Internships cover 134 specialties in engineering, natural, social, and humanitarian sciences, as well as information and communication technologies, medicine, arts, education, agro-industrial complex, national security, and defense. These fully funded internships last from 3 to 12 months.
Scientists from A. Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University actively participate in this competition. Five university scientists have been granted this scholarship and will begin their research abroad next year. Indira Aytzhanova and Nurlan Kaumenov will intern in Lithuania at the University of Health Sciences, Anzor Saidov will go to Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev, and Mira Muratkzy and Akzhan Altibaeva will intern at a Turkish university.
Earlier, eight university scientists successfully passed the competitive selection for international internships under the "500 Scholars" project.
