Baitursynuly University hosted the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Modern Problems of Animal Science," dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Bakytzhan Muslimov.
The conference brought together scientists, professors, and experts in animal science from Kazakhstan and Russia. A delegation from the Kurgan State Agricultural Academy named after T.S. Maltsev attended in person, while senior researchers from the Laboratory of Genomic Selection and Reproductive Cryobiology in Animal Husbandry at the North Caucasus Federal Agrarian Research Center participated online.
A special guest, Azamat Shalmagambetov, nephew of Bakytzhan Muslimov, shared memories of the talented educator and scientist, who rose from a simple lecturer to the director of an agricultural institute, making a significant contribution to science.
During the conference, participants discussed ways to improve the productivity of farm animals through genetic advancements, export potential, selective breeding methods, efficient feeding strategies, housing conditions, disease prevention, and treatment approaches.
