Today, at KRU named after A. Baitursynov, the international scientific and practical conference "Altynsarin Readings-2023: Innovations, Knowledge, Experience - Vectors of Educational Tracks" was held. The conference was organized jointly with the Ibrаy Altynsarin Regional Memorial Museum, the Kostanay Region Akimat Education Department, and the "Center for Pedagogical Excellence" NGO in Kostanay.
The conference addressed issues of modernizing and developing contemporary education, developing and implementing effective technologies and formats for teacher training, the specifics of the educational space in an information society, and generalizing the experience of innovative activities of teachers and the legacy of Kazakh educators.
Nurlykhan Temirbekov, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work, delivered a welcoming speech. He noted that the activities of higher education institutions are aimed at synchronizing the entire education system with national ideas and goals for the country's development. The strategic direction of the education system is improving the quality of teacher education, as the system for training teaching staff is the central element of national education systems as a whole.
At the plenary session, presentations were delivered by Kazakhstani and foreign scientists. Conference participants emphasized issues of early specialization in choosing a teaching profession, discussed the development of the student concept within professional training, and highlighted the professional support of educators in the educational space of schools and universities.
The section work took place in a roundtable format, where issues of the relevance of Y. Altynsarin's pedagogical legacy and S. Kubeev's humanistic ideas in the context of contemporary education were discussed. Master classes were also held: "Research Practice of a Modern Teacher / Заманауи педагогтың зерттеу практикасы" (trainers: Arilana Murzagalieva and Kenzhegul Sagаdieva) and "Modern Methods of Psychological Correction and Counseling with Children and Adolescents / Балалармен және жеткіншектермен психологиялық түзету және кеңестің заманауи әдістері" (conducted by Gauhar Moldakhmetova, Head of the "Empаthy" Psychological Center, a branch of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology).
The conference was attended by over 1000 people, including teachers from primary, secondary, and higher professional education institutions, additional education institutions, master's students, undergraduate students, and other specialists in the field of education from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
