International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Modern Jurisprudence and Youth"

Today, on December 23, 2020, the P. Chuzhinov Institute of Economics and Law of A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University held the First International Scientific and Theoretical Conference of Students, Cadets, Listeners and Undergraduates of Higher Educational Institutions on the topic "Modern Jurisprudence and Youth" in an online format.

The Address of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan in a New Reality: Time for Action" dated September 1, 2020 states: "We are obliged to ensure a decent life for our citizens, protect their rights, strengthen the rule of law, and strengthen the fight against corruption."

These and other topical issues of the development of modern society, the rule of law, the definition of the role of youth in the improvement of legal science and practice, have become the subject of scientific discussion and analysis by future scientists.

In addition, within the framework of the conference, topical issues of the constitutional development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, improving the legal policy of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries in the era of globalization and convergence of national legal systems, problems of development of civil and civil procedural legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, protection of the rights of young people as participants in civil legal relations were considered. The participants of the conference highlighted the main trends in improving the modern criminal, criminal procedure and penal enforcement legislation of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.

The geography of the conference participants was diverse.

Talented students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan took part in its work: the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal Innovation University, Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, Kostanay branch of Chelyabinsk State University, Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev, Institute of Economics and Law named after P. Chuzhinov, Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov.

Foreign guests were represented by students, cadets, listeners and undergraduates of the Kyrgyz State Law University (Bishkek), the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Moscow), the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), the Barnaul Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Siberian Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (Krasnoyarsk), the Vologda Institute of Law and Economics of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, the Kuzbass Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, the Pskov branch Academy of Law and Management of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.

The moderators of the sections were Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of State and Law, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Symbat Ukin, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure Yermek Askarov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Saule Demezhanova.

The scientific conference has become an effective dialogue platform for the scientific acquaintance of our participants, expanding international boundaries and reaching a qualitatively new level of cooperation, exchanging views, discussing important and topical issues of legal science and practice.

We are confident that the original and constructive ideas and proposals expressed at the conference will find their logical continuation in the future in the form of diploma theses, master's and doctoral dissertations, proposals for regulatory legal acts, and the participants of the scientific event in the foreseeable future will become well-known scientists, successful practitioners, and will make their worthy contribution to the development of scientific thought, political, socio-economic,  legal development of their states.
