Seminar on Contemporary Linguistics and Linguodidactics

On April 28, 2021, on the basis of Kostanay Regional University, teachers of the Department of Foreign Philology of the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute held the X International Conference "Actual Problems of Modern Linguistics and Linguodidactics", which was attended by more than 100 young scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan.

The goals of the conference are: the development of the intellectual and creative potential of the student's personality by improving the skills of research activities and the development of analytical skills; summing up the results of the search, research and creative activities of students.

Within the framework of the conference, 5 sections worked: "Theoretical and methodological aspects of general linguistics. Studying Multilingualism"; "Problems of Comparative and Applied Linguistics"; "Methods of Foreign Language Education"; "Theoretical, Methodological and Applied Problems of Translation and Translation Studies"; "Applied Aspects of Modern Literary Studies", where reports were presented in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) on various topics on general, comparative and comparative linguistics, literary criticism and literary analysis; methods of teaching languages; translation and translation studies; topical problems of modern linguistic science as a whole are considered and practical recommendations are proposed.

The presentations of the participants were distinguished by a deep analysis of sources and high-quality independent practical research.

All participants demonstrated high scientific potential and showed excellent skills in presenting information to the audience in an online format.

Certificates were sent to the participants of the conference. The winners were awarded certificates of honor. As a result of the conference, a collection of articles was published with the assignment of isbn.
