A methodological seminar titled “On the Requirements for Scientific Publications Recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute for faculty members and master’s students.
The seminar was organized and led by faculty members of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Special Education: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Kenzhegul Shalgimbekova and Master of Pedagogical Sciences Dinara Toyymbetova.
The seminar featured a presentation on the algorithm for selecting a journal for publishing research findings. Participants learned about the application process and the requirements for submitting a scientific paper to journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additionally, they received recommendations on
introducing a necessary section into the list of publications recommended by the committee (on behalf of the department). Participants asked relevant questions and received comprehensive answers.
As a result of the seminar, recommendations were developed to improve the quality of master’s students' training in research activities and enhance faculty members' professional competencies.
