SCIENTIFIC approach of future biology teachers

RESULTS OF THE REPUBLICAN COMPETITION OF RESEARCH PROJECTS IN THE FIELD OF B013 "TRAINING OF BIOLOGY TEACHERS" SUMMARIZED.

Based on the results of 2024, the Akhmet Baitursynov National University became the base university for the second stage of the annual Republican competition of student research works in the field of B013 "Training of Biology Teachers."

This competition is held annually by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The goal is to encourage students' research, educational, and cognitive activities.

The competition committee consists of faculty members from the Department of Natural Sciences. The chair is Tatyana Bragina, Doctor of Biological Sciences and professor in the Department of Natural Sciences.

Over two days, the committee carefully reviewed all the entries submitted to the competition. A total of 14 entries (18 students, 14 research supervisors) from nine universities were submitted to the 2025 NIRS competition in the B013 "Training of Biology Teachers" category.

Scientific projects and works are presented in various fields: bioindication, genetics, the study of medicinal properties of plants, the study of animals, as well as topics related to biology teaching methods, etc.

Some of the research papers focused on current issues in biological education, namely: the application of AI in education, the use of Flash animation, innovative educational technologies, etc.

When evaluating the research papers, the commission took into account their scientific merit, the effectiveness of the methods used, the research methodology, the achievement of the set goals and objectives, the analysis conducted, the clarity of the conclusions, the formatting of the paper in accordance with the requirements, and the availability of all supporting documents.

After careful consideration of the works, first place and a first-degree diploma from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded to students Dilnaz Bazarbayeva and Alexandra Gubaidullina from the Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after Alkey Margulan. The students prepared a research paper entitled "Palynological indication of technologically polluted areas through analysis of the transformation of Pinus sylvestris L pollen." The research supervisor was Dr. Gulmira Asylbekova.

Congratulations to the students and their supervisor on their victory and the right to host the next annual Republican competition of student research projects in 2026 at the Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after Alkey Margulan!
