Today, the Department of Economics and Finance hosted a round table on the topic "Post-coronavirus economy: challenges and ways to overcome", prepared by teachers and students as part of the events dedicated to the Day of the Scientist, moderated by Seitkaliy Turezhanov.
During the discussion, students' reports on topical problems of our time were heard. Student Gaisha Orazalina, under the guidance of Senior Lecturer, Master of Economic Sciences Kenzhegul Kuzhukeeva, presented the topic "Digital Economy as a Tool to Support Entrepreneurship".
The report "Socio-Economic Consequences of COVID-19" was presented by student Ainur Shnarbayeva under the guidance of Associate Professor, Candidate of Economic Sciences Aizhan Kurmangaliyeva.
Student Sayat Shaimerdenov spoke about the post-coronavirus economy, prospects and opportunities for Kazakhstan together with his supervisor, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor Nalima Sartanova.
And Unita Evich presented a report on the topic "Development of skills and abilities of workers in the post-coronavirus economy", which was carried out under the guidance of Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Economics Seitkaliy Turezhanov.
During the discussion of the reports, the main problems of the economy of Kazakhstan at the present stage of development were discussed, recommendations were given for the formation of skills and abilities necessary to successfully overcome the negative consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
