On November 14, the Department of Philology and Practical Linguistics at Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly held a scientific seminar titled "Corpus Linguistics in Text: A Scientific-Methodological Collection of Resources and Methods."
The event aimed to teach students methods for constructing and using corpora in linguistic research, as well as techniques for processing and analyzing textual data. The seminar was attended by faculty members, graduate students, and students of the "Kazakh Philology" educational program.
The seminar addressed pressing topics such as the theoretical and practical significance of corpus linguistics in linguistics, the role of national corpora in the digitization of the Kazakh language, artificial intelligence, teaching through texts in comics, and an analysis of Beimbet Maylin's work "Shuganyn Belgisi."
Insights and experiences were shared by the Head of the Department, A. A. Absadyk, Associate Professor A. T. Dosova, and second-year graduate students: Gulnar Abdigaparova, Tansulu Antaeva, Amina Bekmukhametova, Botagoz Kulmagambetova, Dinara Koyshigulova, Azhar Tokhtarova, and Lazzat Utemuratova.
The event was held at a high level.
