A kick-off conference was held on the implementation of the new project of the Erasmus+ programme "UnWaste" – Promoting the circular economy in the partner countries through the development and implementation of the master's programme "Waste Management".
The aim of this project is to influence the current situation through the development of a master's degree programme in Waste Management, as well as raising awareness of the circular economy.
This project will strengthen the practical orientation of training and ensure the development of soft skills such as teamwork, communication skills, management, decision-making, and professional skills in engineering waste management.
The circular economy serves as an effective alternative to the linear model, which requires a large amount of resources and, accordingly, produces a lot of useless waste. This is a great way to turn environmental problems into economic opportunities that will benefit the environment, the consumer, entrepreneurship and the state.
