They successfully passed the qualification process and got the opportunity to represent Kostanay region and the University in the National competitions Enactus Kazakhstan National EXPO 2024, where they presented the GrainProduct project.
The essence of this project is that recycled grain waste can be used to make biological plastic, which, unlike synthetic, decomposes easily and protects the soil from waste.
Thus, students contribute to environmental protection and solve one of the 10 UN Sustainable Development Goals, making the planet a better and cleaner place.
It was thanks to this innovative startup that the BU team was able to enter the World Cup League Enactus Kazakhstan 2024.
The team has achieved some success since its creation in April 2022, they visited summer and winter camps from Enactus Kazakhstan and proved themselves to be a successful team. And in 2023, the Enactus Baitursynuly team participated in the National Competitions Enactus Kazakhstan National EXPO 2023 in the Early Stage and won a grant in the amount of 500,000 tenge from KMF Demeu.
Enactus Baitursynuly expresses its deep gratitude to the head of the regional Smart center Gulmira Dambaulova, on the basis of which all conditions have been created for the successful promotion of student startup projects, and startup specialist Nursultan Bekbayev, who is also an adviser to the team, and who, together with students, is working on the implementation of business ideas.
