A student of the 6В05301–"Physics" educational program, Maxim Podosyonov, and his supervisor, senior lecturer Yuri Martynyuk, participated in the V International Conference of Young Scientists "Current Issues of Theory and Practice of Electrochemical Processes", which was held at the Engel's Technological Institute (Russia, a branch of Saratov State Technical University). The conference featured presentations from 37 participants from various CIS countries on topics such as chemical power sources, galvanic coating technology, and ecology in chemical manufacturing.
In their remote presentation, representatives of the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov presented a report dedicated to the study of the electronic nose - a device for recognizing smells, close in operating principle to the nose of humans and animals. This is the first study on this topic for the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the Engineering Institute named after. A. Aitmuhambetov.
The report aroused great interest among conference participants; following the presentation, there were lots of questions, as well as many useful and practically relevant pieces of advice on project development.
