"Eurasian Climate Talks": Discussing Global Issues

Baitursynuly University Students Took Part in the "Eurasian Climate Talks"

Students of Baitursynuly University participated in the Eurasian Climate Talks held in the format of a summer school at Toraighyrov University (Pavlodar).

The university was represented by Ecology students Karina Dotsenko, Valeria Spivak, and Aruzhan Baidildinova.

The participants had a unique opportunity to attend a series of lectures delivered by leading international and domestic experts in the field of ecology and sustainable development.

Key topics included global environmental challenges, modern waste management approaches, and energy-efficient technologies.

During the Eco Garden opening ceremony at the Toraighyrov University campus, the students joined Ulrich Kinne, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Germany in Kazakhstan, in planting trees.

Additionally, the students showcased their scientific and environmental projects at the Eurasian Climate Talks.

Baitursynuly University student Karina Dotsenko received high praise from the expert jury for her project “Zero Waste at the University: The First Step Towards a Waste-Free Campus”, which earned 3rd place.
