"It Was My Little Dream!"

Ali Bek Tabuldenov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Baitursynuly University and PhD in History, has been awarded the prestigious "Bolashak" international scholarship!

Next year, as part of the "500 Foreign Scholars" program, he will travel to the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw) to continue his research on the topic of the deportation of peoples to Northern Kazakhstan in the 1930s-1950s.

"I've been working in this field for about 20 years, and I've written over 100 articles," says Ali Bek Nurgambetovich. "In the last three years, together with my colleagues, I've participated in the work of the State Commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of political repression. I also managed to establish contacts with foreign organizations from Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland. Polish scientists showed interest in joint research, and I received an invitation from the Polish Academy of Sciences. After that, I submitted my documents for the 'Bolashak' program. I can say it was my little dream."

We congratulate Ali Bek Nurgambetovich and wish him success in his scientific endeavors!
