Baitursynuly University is hosting an international conference entitled "The Power of Teaching: A Modern View of ELT (English Language Teaching)".
The organizers are the Association of English Teachers of the Kostanay Region in cooperation with the US Embassy in Kazakhstan and the Akhmet Baitursynuly Regional University.
The conference was opened by Zhenis Zharlygasov, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Digitalization at KRU. He emphasized the importance of integrating modern digital solutions into the educational process. The participants were particularly interested in the presentation by KRU graduate Alibek Kurmangaliyev.
He works as a teacher at an American school in Kuwait. In his presentation, he shared his experience of teaching English in an international environment.
The conference program included a number of practical activities, including master classes from US experts Robert Leyer (PhD) and Nancy Lindberg.
The conference became an effective platform for professional communication, presentation of new ideas, and establishment of partnerships.
