"BAITURSYNOVSKIE READINGS 2025" About the FUTURE of science

Today, the international scientific and practical conference "BAITURSYNOV READINGS 2025" is taking place at KRU.

The event began with laying flowers at the monument of the scientist, educator, whose name KRU proudly bears - Akhmet Baitursynuly.

Also, since the morning, the university has been hosting a book exhibition "The Great Son of the Kazakh Steppe - Akhmet Baitursynuly".

The rector of Baitursynuly University Seitbek Kuanyshbayev noted that the conference is becoming more and more large-scale every year and always raises relevant topics.

This year, the participants of the "Baitursynov Readings" designated the main topic as - "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Science: Interdisciplinary Approaches and Technologies".

It is important to understand and use the strengths of AI, but also to take into account the harm that artificial intelligence can cause, - emphasized Zhenis Zharlygasov, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Digitalization at KRU. - We will talk about all the nuances of this topic.

The conference at KRU brought together scientists not only from our region, but also from different countries of the world.

Associate Professor of the University of Minnesota (USA) Peter Dolan and Professor of Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) Vlada Vitunskiene spoke at the plenary session.

During the day, work will be carried out in sections on the most relevant scientific areas.
