Today, the annual international scientific-practical conference "Baytursov readings - 2024" was held at Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baytursynuly. This year, it is dedicated to the theme "The concept of development of higher education and science in Kazakhstan - the basis for human capital and innovation growth."
The conference began with an exhibition of scientific works by the university scholars Great Son of the Kazakh Steppe - Akhmet Baytursynuly and grant projects.
The conference, which took place in a mixed format, was attended by the scientists from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Slovakia, Lithuania, Ukraine, and Russia. The high interest in the conference (150 applications received) demonstrates the importance and relevance of this event. The presentations were presented in Kazakh, Russian, and English languages and all of them will be included in the scientific collection of the conference results.
The plenary session was opened by the Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev.
"The development of science and higher education is under close attention of the Head of the State, who mentioned that the development of science is a strategically important priority for our country. Therefore, it is especially important to create conditions for talented youth to engage in scientific research. It is gratifying to note that our university has become a platform for constructive dialogue, sharing of experiences, and opinions among scientists," he said.
The conference included 5 directions:
The conference consisted of three panel sessions: "Psychological health and well-being of individuals in modern society," "sustainable development and waste management," and "Journalism and PR: new challenges of the time."
During the conference, sections were organized involving prominent Kazakhstani and foreign scientists.
