“GALYM KOSIPKER” Finale: Celebrating Innovation

As a part of Science Week, the final round of the “GALYM KOSIPKER” Scientific Project Competition took place at the Baitursynuly University’s Smart Center – in collaboration with the women’s wing of the AMANAT party and Qostanai Hub.

The main goal of the competition is to boost innovation in the region by supporting scientific projects with strong commercialization potential and a clear impact on the socio-economic development of Kostanay Region.

And there was no shortage of promising ideas!

All participants received certificates, while the most outstanding projects earned cash prizes:

• 1^st Place – Zhanaidar Bermukhametov, Head of Laboratory at the Applied Biotechnology Research Institute, KRU (100,000 KZT)
• 2^nd Place – Yulia Aleshina, Researcher at the Applied Biotechnology Research Institute (75,000 KZT)
• 3^rd Place – Damir Mnaydarov, Lecturer at the Department of Information Systems (50,000 KZT)

Besides, two participants were awarded a special prize – a trip to the international exhibition in Morocco:

• Liliya Baizhanova, Head of the Department of Accounting and Management
• Gulmira Dambaulova, Head of the Smart Center
