Actual problems and trends in the development of modern agrarian science and veterinary medicine

Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems and Trends in the Development of Modern Agrarian Science and Veterinary Medicine", dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Piontkovsky Valentin Ivanovich.

The plenary session was held offline, and the work of the sections was held online.

The conference was attended by researchers in the field of agriculture, veterinary medicine, managers and specialists of the agro-industrial complex, teachers, undergraduates, doctoral students, graduate students, students from Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Poland.

The international scientific and practical conference was opened by the Acting Director of the Department of Science and Postgraduate Education of the A. Baitursynov KRU, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Gulshat Shaikamal.

In total, more than 120 people took part in the plenary and sectional sessions, 68 reports were heard in the work of the sections, of which 23 were in agricultural sciences and 45 in veterinary sciences.

The conference participants discussed a wide range of scientific, methodological, practical, organizational and managerial issues of agrarian science and veterinary medicine aimed at preserving the health of animals and birds, the production of high-quality agricultural products. They also agreed on a common scientific and practice-oriented position in understanding the main directions of practical implementation of the tasks of development and improvement of agricultural science and veterinary medicine.

The Organizing Committee of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems and Trends in the Development of Modern Agrarian Science and Veterinary Medicine", dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor V.I. Piontkovsky, believes that the work of the conference was successful.
